UFOs are mapping the Earth’s surface while creating a Google Maps-style graph of the Universe.

Former military intelligence adviser Christopher Mellon claims that thousands of similar sightings around the world suggest that alien spacecraft are on a “reconnaissance mission”.
The expert, who served under Presidents Bill Clinton and George W. Bush as Assistant Assistant Secretary of Defense for US Intelligence, launches his bombastic conclusion in a new TV documentary due to air in the UK next month.

This comes at the same time that a Senate committee voted to compel the Pentagon’s own UFO research unit to release many of its findings over the next year and make them public.

Mr. Mellon said: “I don’t think these things are ours and I’m hopeful that we can finally make progress to find out where they might be coming from and how they work.”

The former Pentagon chief added: “If they are not ours, we have a lot to worry about. They can signify a new and uncertain security threat. ”

He reveals his latest research in an episode of the Sky History series, Unidentified: Inside America’s UFO Investigation, whose second season will be released on September 1.

It includes images of several massive objects shaped like perfect equilateral triangles that have lights at each of their three corners and appear to be able to slowly float through the sky, as well as depart with incredible bursts of speed.

These triangular craft have been seen above more than 50 US military installations, including Scott Air Force Base, Illinois – a strategic command center whose state-of-the-art equipment could not even register the “intruder”.

Mr. Mellon said this type of UFO bears “absolutely no resemblance” to any advanced ground-based aerial technology such as stealth bombers or modern fighter jets, but has been seen around the world “for over 40 years.”
