On August 20, 1989,, Jose and Kitty Menendez, in the family’s Beverly Hills home.
They called 911 and reported finding their parents dead after returning home from a movie.
The police initially suspected that the murders were a result of a mafia hit, but soon began to suspect the Menendez brothers.
The brothers were arrested and charged with murder in March 1990
